The last weekend of April, we participated in a 5k to raise awareness and funds for the Daniela Conte Foundation. This foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families impacted by pediatric cancer and funding critical research for rare childhood cancers.
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month and our ongoing mission to create healing environments, we want to highlight how sponsoring the Daniela Conte Foundation isn't just about giving—it's about showing up for families in their most difficult moments and investing in hope.
Who Was Daniela Conte?
Daniela Conte was a brave and beautiful 8-year-old girl from Long Island who lost her life to rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare childhood cancer. Her legacy lives on through the foundation her family created—one that offers emotional, financial, and practical support to families navigating the unimaginable journey of pediatric cancer. Katia, Daniela’s mother, started this foundation in her honor to help families with mortgages, bills, and everyday expenses to take the toll off the families dealing with childhood cancer.
This foundation does more than raise funds—it creates community, care, and comfort for those who need it most.
